Located in a historical building in the centre of Salonica, this one-bedroom apartment is part of a larger investment property project.
The particularity of this project is that it introduces modern living spaces into a historical building with strong architectural and historical identity. The building has interesting architectural features, such as high ceilings, robust walls and tall windows.
Description
Our goal was to make the best use of the identity of the building, but also to suggest a new, bold identity in the interiors.
In such a small property, optimization of space is important. A simple layout with open kitchen is suggested for the main living area. The bathroom and bedroom are the private zones. All areas include storage space and modern technological amenities.

The living room and bedroom have textured wood-panelled walls in strong blue colour, like a living colour canvas. Floors are made of wooden parquet and grey terrazzo with brass details, a reference to the architectural diversity of Salonica. The furniture and lighting is an eclectic and contrasted mix of modern and iconic vintage pieces.
